NOTE: This is an agreement draft. Please
don't sign this, we will be faxing a final form to you to sign
and return to us if you would like to be a reseller. This version
is provided for information purposes only.
Alquds Compu-Tech, author and owner of exclusive rights of/to The
Arabic Tutor(TM), hereby grant --------------------- [applicant’s
name] of ------------------------- [company] the permission to
reproduce a maximum of --------- [number] (------------------[in
words]) copies of the current version (2.1x) of The Arabic Tutor
documentation subject to the following understanding:
1 . "The Arabic Tutor Documentation"
means the User Guide and the Workbook as received from the author
(Abed Khooli of Alquds Compu-Tech). (note: The total number of
pages in both is around 100 pages letter size)
2 . The sole and only usage of these ‘copies’
shall be the integration into a full package with the
author-supplied: Program CD-ROM (The Arabic Tutor, V. 2.1 in both
16- and 32-bit), the registration form and the license agreement
plus a readme sheet if necessary. These three items,
together with a ‘documentation’ make a ‘complete
package’. Any package missing either of these is considered
illegal.
3 . Only complete packages may be sold/furnished
to customers/ other resellers. Reproduction of any content of The
Arabic Tutor CD, the registration form or the license agreement
is not allowed under any circumstance.
4 . The reproduction of the documentation may
not change/contradict the contents, labels, copyright or
readability of the author-supplied master copies of the
documentation.
5 . This permission may be used only once, but
can be renewed upon request. It is not transferable. It commences
soon after being returned to Abed Khooli (Alquds Compu-Tech) with
applicant’s signature and is valid for 60 (sixty) days
afterwards.
6 . Based on the recommended retail price
(currently at US$49.95), the discounted price per copy depends on
the number of copies stated in the first paragraph above (the
order). The minimum order is 50 (fifty) copies and the price
breakdown is as follows:
US$20.00 each for 50 copies, US$15.0 each for 100 and US$10.00
each for 200 or more. Jewel cases or other CD envelopes are not
included in this price.
7 . Orders of "the program CD, the
registration form and the license agreement", henceforth
known as "The Arabic Tutor 2.1 kit" must be prepaid
(check/money order). Shipping and handling charges are not
included in the prices quoted above and depend on the service
chosen by the customer. Alquds Compu-Tech takes care of technical
support. Orders of 75, 125, 150, 175 copies may be accepted at
interpolated prices. Please get in touch if you need a quote on
